This is an extra piece of information I found out about through a new link I made through social media networking.

A friend of a friend of mine introduced me to something that you might already know about; it's called HooteSuite.  For those of you unfamiliar with this, it is a site that teaches people how to navigate through the world of social media and make it work for them.  It even offers self-paced courses to become a certified social media professional.

This site seems to be useful for any professional to have in their repertoire.  I have not tried it out myself, personally, so I cannot say too much.  However, we have been discussing social media and digital tools in class so much that I thought this might be of interest to some of you, especially business writing students.
